When the GPC Team decided to bring its limited edition Bible to life (the first of a series), we needed the hand-lettering for all 66 books of the Bible to be captivatingly distinct. We turned to New York City artist Eric Haze whose iconic hand style was the perfect fit for the modern intent of the GPC BIBLE. Every single piece of artwork and lettering was done by hand, then digitized. The painstaking process created a more authentic experience and involved multiple iterations of lettering styles until the creative team agreed to the final design. Haze and his team were ideal collaborators for such an ambitious project, elevating the aesthetic to God’s Holy Word with artisan qualities.
